Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, from concept to production, using CAD software and simulation tools.
• Conduct thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and vibration analysis to ensure the integrity and performance of designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee the testing and validation of prototypes, identifying and resolving any design flaws or performance issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of material science, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to design challenges.
• Proven experience in leading projects and working effectively within a team environment.
