Senior NLP Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior NLP Engineer to join their globally distributed, fully remote team. This role is central to developing and advancing natural language processing capabilities that power innovative applications and services. You will work on challenging projects involving text analysis, sentiment analysis, language modeling, and machine translation, contributing significantly to the field of AI and Emerging Technologies . Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and algorithms.
• Build and optimize production-level NLP systems for applications such as chatbots, text summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data to extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate NLP solutions into user-facing products.
• Conduct research on new NLP techniques and technologies, such as transformers and large language models (LLMs).
• Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in NLP engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch for NLP tasks.
• Solid understanding of linguistic principles, text pre-processing, and feature extraction techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working effectively in a remote team.
