Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex research projects focused on drug discovery and development within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Design and execute experimental protocols for synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel chemical entities.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, providing critical insights and recommendations for project progression.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including biologists, toxicologists, and regulatory affairs specialists.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, technologies, and trends in pharmaceutical research and medicinal chemistry.
• Prepare high-quality research reports, publications, and patent applications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery .
• Proven track record in synthetic organic chemistry and structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies.
• Experience with modern analytical techniques such as NMR, Mass Spectrometry, and HPLC.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and virtual collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
