About the Role

Our client, a reputable healthcare provider in Reading , is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Podiatrist & Foot Health Specialist . This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive podiatric care to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. You will lead by example, offering expert advice, advanced treatment options, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical practice. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions such as verrucas, corns, calluses, fungal infections, and ingrown toenails.
• Provide specialized care for diabetic foot complications, biomechanical assessments, and gait analysis.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including orthotics and footwear advice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification recognized by the HCPC.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in podiatric practice.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in a wide range of podiatric treatments.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
