Senior Power Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of high-voltage and low-voltage power systems.
• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis.
• Develop and implement strategies for power system protection and control.
• Specify and select power system equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and generators.
• Oversee the integration and commissioning of new power system components and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers working on power systems projects.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in power systems engineering .
• In-depth knowledge of power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD).
• Experience with grid integration and renewable energy systems is highly desirable.
• Understanding of power system protection schemes and relay settings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
