Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Power Systems Engineer to join their fully remote team, focusing on the design and analysis of advanced power infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Design, model, and analyze power systems , including transmission, distribution, and generation networks.
Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and stability studies using industry-standard software.
Develop and implement strategies for grid modernization, integration of renewable energy, and energy storage solutions.
Provide expert technical consultation and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant power system codes, standards, and regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the advancement of the team's technical capabilities in a remote setting.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems engineering .
Proficiency with power system simulation software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or PSCAD.
Strong understanding of grid operations, protection systems, and renewable energy integration.
Proven experience working effectively in a remote engineering environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for virtual collaboration.
