Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and analyze electrical power systems , including distribution, protection, and control.
- Perform load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and transient stability simulations.
- Develop specifications for power system equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and generators.
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate power systems into larger infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on power system design and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in power systems engineering .
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD).
- Strong understanding of electrical protection schemes and equipment.
- Experience with renewable energy integration is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model .
