Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products, from laboratory scale to commercial production.
• Perform process characterization and validation studies to ensure robustness and reproducibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Write and review process development reports, batch records, and validation documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development and scale-up within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience with various manufacturing technologies relevant to pharmaceutical production.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, process validation, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and manufacturing environment in Cambridge .
