About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead major infrastructure projects from their Bristol office. This role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver complex schemes on time and within budget. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical and operational aspects of projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Manage project teams, including engineers, designers, and site personnel.
- Oversee the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract management, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
