Senior Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Property Development Manager to lead their development projects in the Plymouth region. This role is responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from initial site acquisition and feasibility studies through to planning, design, construction, and final handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the property development process, from concept to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site appraisals, and financial viability assessments for new projects.
• Manage the planning application process, liaising with planning authorities and stakeholders.
• Appoint and manage consultants, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Control project budgets, timelines, and quality, mitigating risks effectively.

Requirements

• Significant experience (7+ years) in property development management , ideally within the UK.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and contract management.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and diverse teams.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant degree in Surveying, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
