Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex molecular biology experiments using advanced techniques such as CRISPR, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and advanced cell culture models.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets generated from experiments, employing statistical and bioinformatics tools to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Lead and mentor junior research staff, providing scientific guidance and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Prepare detailed research reports, scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at international conferences.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of research programs, identifying new opportunities and innovative approaches.
Requirements
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related life science field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in molecular biology.
- Demonstrated expertise in gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9) and experience with high-throughput screening methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and experience with bioinformatics pipelines.
- Proven track record of scientific publication and experience in a lead research role.
