Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex molecular biology experiments, including gene editing, cloning, and functional assays.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and validate new experimental protocols and techniques to advance research objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including computational biologists and assay development specialists, using virtual collaboration tools.
• Mentor junior researchers and provide scientific guidance on projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in molecular biology and related fields.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience, with a proven track record in molecular biology research.
• Extensive hands-on experience with techniques such as PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, CRISPR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting scientific findings remotely.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
