About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software.
• Analyze production data, well performance, and geological information to forecast reservoir behavior.
• Propose and evaluate development strategies, including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
• Conduct economic evaluations of reservoir development plans and optimize production profiles.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering , with a strong focus on simulation and modeling.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, PETREL RE) and data analysis tools.
• Deep understanding of reservoir physics, fluid properties, and geological concepts.
• Proven ability to conduct complex reservoir characterization and economic analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
