Senior Reservoir Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their team, working entirely remotely. This position is crucial for optimizing the development and production of hydrocarbon assets within the dynamic Oil & Gas industry . You will leverage your deep technical expertise to analyze reservoir performance, design development strategies, and implement enhanced recovery techniques to maximize economic recovery. This fully remote role allows you to contribute significantly to critical projects without the need for physical office presence, offering unparalleled flexibility while engaging with global teams and complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and performance analysis using geological and engineering data.
• Develop and calibrate reservoir simulation models to forecast production and evaluate development scenarios.
• Design and recommend enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects to improve field recovery factors.
• Perform economic evaluations of development opportunities and optimize production strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (geology, drilling, production) to ensure integrated field development plans.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG Suite, Petrel RE).
• Solid understanding of reservoir fluid properties, rock mechanics, and EOR methods.
• Experience with data analysis , decline curve analysis, and volumetric calculations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills.
