Senior Scientist - Oncology Research

Key Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and interpret complex experiments investigating cancer biology and therapeutic response.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemists, pharmacologists, and clinicians.
• Analyze and present experimental data, contributing to research strategy and project progression.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Oncology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in cancer research.
• Proven expertise in a wide range of oncology research techniques (e.g., cell culture, cancer cell line work, molecular assays).
• Strong understanding of cancer signaling pathways, tumor microenvironment, and mechanisms of drug resistance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and contribute to scientific publications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, required for this role in Portsmouth .
