Senior Research Fellow - Drug Discovery

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Fellow to join their pioneering Drug Discovery team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the UK. Key Responsibilities

• Lead research projects focused on identifying and validating novel drug targets and hit compounds.
• Design and implement innovative experimental strategies and assays to evaluate compound efficacy and safety.
• Analyze and interpret complex biological and pharmacological data, providing key insights for project progression.
• Collaborate closely with computational chemists, biologists, and other R&D scientists in a remote setting.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, publications, and patent applications.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
• Demonstrated expertise in a relevant therapeutic area and assay development.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery processes and principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
