About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Architect to join their cutting-edge team on a fully remote basis. This role is critical in designing and overseeing the implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient IT infrastructure and cloud environments. You will be responsible for defining security strategies, standards, and blueprints that protect the organisation against sophisticated threats. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust security architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Develop and maintain security standards, patterns, and blueprints for enterprise-wide adoption.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the security posture.
Provide expert guidance on security best practices for application development, infrastructure, and cloud deployments.
Lead security reviews for major projects and initiatives, ensuring security is integrated from the design phase.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and risk management teams to address security challenges.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in information security , with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
Deep expertise in designing secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
Strong knowledge of network security, application security, cryptography, and identity and access management (IAM).
Experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF) and threat modeling.
