About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join their dedicated development team in Milton Keynes . Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on blockchain networks.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews and security audits of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Optimize smart contract performance for gas efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define smart contract requirements and specifications.
• Stay current with best practices in smart contract development, security, and relevant blockchain ecosystem updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to smart contract execution and deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in smart contract development, primarily with Solidity.
• Strong understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its nuances.
• Experience with blockchain development environments and tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, or Ganache.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests for smart contracts.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail in security-critical code.
