About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sports Performance Analyst to join their elite performance team in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of performance data, translating complex metrics into clear, actionable insights that drive success on the field or court. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the collection and analysis of performance data using advanced tracking and video analysis tools.
- Develop and implement sophisticated analytical models to assess individual and team performance.
- Provide real-time and post-event performance feedback to coaching staff and athletes.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations that clearly communicate key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with coaches to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and align analysis with strategic goals.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in sports science, analytics technology, and performance methodologies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a performance analysis role within elite sports.
- Expertise in using performance analysis software (e.g., Hudl, Sportscode, Dartfish) and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics, physiological principles, and sports tactics relevant to sport .
- Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Master's degree or higher in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, or a related field is highly preferred.
