About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Sports Performance Analyst to join their elite team based in Edinburgh . This role is pivotal in enhancing athletic performance through the meticulous collection, analysis, and interpretation of performance data. You will work closely with coaches and athletes to provide actionable insights that drive training strategies and competitive success. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze comprehensive performance data from training and competition using specialized software and techniques.
• Develop and implement sophisticated analytical models to identify key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback and reports to coaches and athletes to inform tactical and technical development.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to set performance goals and develop personalized training plans.
• Maintain and manage performance databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Stay current with advancements in sports science, performance analysis technology, and best practices in the sports field.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports performance analysis , with a strong track record in a senior capacity.
• Proficiency in using performance analysis software (e.g., Hudl, Sportscode, Dartfish) and statistical analysis tools.
• Deep understanding of physiological and biomechanical principles related to athletic performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex data to various audiences.
• Degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, or a related quantitative discipline.
