About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Sustainable Architect to lead green initiatives within their practice based in Brighton . This role is dedicated to integrating sustainable design principles and cutting-edge environmental technologies into all projects, ensuring they meet high ecological standards. You will champion sustainable design strategies, conduct environmental impact assessments, and collaborate with teams to achieve ambitious sustainability goals for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative sustainable design strategies across a range of architectural projects.
• Conduct environmental performance analyses and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs).
• Advise clients and project teams on sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and renewable technologies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental building standards and certification schemes (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
• Lead and mentor junior staff on sustainable design practices and research emerging environmental solutions.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with extensive experience in sustainable design.
• In-depth knowledge of green building technologies, materials, and passive design principles.
• Experience with environmental assessment tools and sustainability rating systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant UK and international environmental regulations.
