Senior Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Telecoms Project Manager to lead key telecommunications projects from inception to completion in the Derby area. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for telecommunications projects.
• Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying and resolving issues, and mitigating risks proactively.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment in Derby .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, network deployment, and operational processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
