About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Senior UI/UX Designer to join their forward-thinking team in Reading . This role is integral to conceptualizing and crafting intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for their digital products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to translate user needs and business requirements into exceptional design solutions. This is a prime opportunity to influence product direction, mentor junior designers, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes user experience and design excellence within a collaborative hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure design feasibility.
Stay current with industry trends in UI/UX design, accessibility, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design , with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital product designs.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing independent work with team collaboration.
