Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic team in London . This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and interface design of innovative digital products. You will be instrumental in translating complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating seamless digital journeys that delight users and drive business objectives within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to implementation, conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design vision aligns with technical feasibility and business goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and continuously improve the user experience.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation within the team.
• Advocate for user needs and best practices in design, presenting design solutions and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both user interface and user experience design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Solid understanding of web and mobile design principles , accessibility standards, and responsive design techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
