About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and user-centric Senior UI/UX Designer to join their team in Norwich . This role is crucial for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences across our digital platforms. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user journey. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the user interaction for our products and mentor junior designers in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, create personas, and develop user journey maps to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Create visually appealing and consistent UI elements, style guides, and design systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design , with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and layout.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design decisions.
