Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior UX/UI Designer to join their product development team in Cambridge . This role is instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface design for their innovative software products. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating intuitive wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing design language across all platforms. This on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders in a cutting-edge research and development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and design opportunities.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design system and style guide to ensure brand coherence and product usability.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into user-centered designs.
• Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design process and outcomes.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
