About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and user-centric Senior UX/UI Designer to join their product development team in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences for their digital products. This role requires a deep understanding of user behaviour, design principles, and the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions. Working in a hybrid model, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to shape the user journey from conception to launch.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design process for new features and products, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems , style guides, and component libraries.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Create visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that meet accessibility standards.
Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma , Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Familiarity with front-end development concepts and constraints.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
