About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves shaping the user experience and interface design for a range of innovative digital products. You will be instrumental in translating complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs that drive user satisfaction and product success. This is an opportunity to take a lead on design projects, mentor junior designers, and contribute significantly to the visual identity and usability of our client's digital offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions and iterations.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design, interaction design, and digital product development.
Requirements
- Proven track record with 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience conducting various forms of user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
