About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic creative team in Aberdeen . This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience of our digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. You will be instrumental in translating complex user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions that drive user satisfaction and business goals. Working collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, you will have a significant impact on the product's journey from concept to launch, fostering a user-centric approach within the organization and contributing to a culture of design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing designs.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
- Mentor junior designers and champion best practices in UX/UI design throughout the company.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design aesthetics.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
