Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client, a technology-driven company in Southampton , is seeking a talented and user-centric Senior UX/UI Designer to join their product development team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for their digital products, ensuring they are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a deep understanding of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into seamless user journeys, significantly impacting product usability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Develop high-fidelity visual designs and design systems that adhere to brand guidelines and ensure a consistent user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and with engineers to ensure feasibility and successful implementation of designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and stakeholder input.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital product design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Experience designing for web and mobile applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
