About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to enhance user experiences for their digital platforms in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial in translating complex user needs into intuitive and engaging interfaces that drive user satisfaction and business goals. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the entire product lifecycle from research and ideation to final design implementation. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to balance in-office collaboration with remote work, perfect for a designer passionate about creating seamless and impactful digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and performance metrics.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design , with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and visual design.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment, balancing collaboration and independent work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
