About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design efforts for their digital products in Wolverhampton . This role involves translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and visual design, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience across all platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the product design direction and mentor junior designers within a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, create user personas, and map user journeys to understand user needs and behaviours.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
- Design high-fidelity user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and visual aesthetics.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.
- Expertise in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
