Senior Warehouse Supervisor (Remote Support)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Warehouse Supervisor to provide crucial remote support for their logistics operations across multiple sites, including their facility in Leeds . This role focuses on leveraging technology to oversee and guide on-site teams, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and efficiency from a distance. You will act as a key point of contact for site managers, troubleshoot operational challenges, and implement best practices across the network. This is a unique opportunity to lead and influence warehouse operations without being physically present on-site daily, demanding strong communication and problem-solving skills in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote oversight and guidance to on-site warehouse teams, ensuring adherence to operational standards and procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all supervised sites, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist site supervisors in resolving operational issues, managing staff, and optimizing workflows.
• Conduct virtual audits and performance reviews of warehouse operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice implementation across different warehouse locations.
• Develop and deliver remote training modules for warehouse staff and supervisors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, even remotely.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, adaptable to remote scenarios.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport virtually.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and MS Office Suite.
