Senior Well Integrity Engineer

About the Role

Our client, a prominent company in the UK Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a knowledgeable Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join their team in Cambridge . This crucial role focuses on ensuring the integrity and safety of wells throughout their lifecycle, from drilling to abandonment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing well integrity management systems, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage well integrity management systems (WIMS) according to regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments related to well integrity, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Plan and oversee well integrity testing, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Analyze well data, including pressure monitoring and inspection reports, to identify potential integrity issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support on well integrity matters to operational teams and project engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies regarding well integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well engineering, with a specific focus on well integrity.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion, and intervention processes.
• Proficiency in well integrity standards (e.g., ISO 16530) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with well integrity software and data management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
