About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical SEO Specialist to join their marketing team in Reading . This hybrid role focuses on improving organic search rankings, increasing website traffic, and driving qualified leads through strategic Search Engine Optimization efforts. You will be responsible for conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, implementing on-page and off-page SEO tactics, and staying ahead of search engine algorithm updates. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and search engine rankings using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Conduct regular SEO audits to identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and optimize content for search engines, working closely with the content team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the web development and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience of 3+ years as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Demonstrated success in improving organic search rankings and driving relevant traffic.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page SEO strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
