Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Shift Manager to lead their manufacturing operations during assigned shifts in Nottingham . You will be responsible for managing the production team, overseeing processes, and responding to any issues that arise to ensure minimal disruption. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all production activities during your assigned shift to meet daily targets.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal output.
- Lead and motivate the shift team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Respond effectively to operational challenges, equipment malfunctions, or emergencies that may arise during the shift.
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and any incidents that occur.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shift Manager , Supervisor, or Team Leader in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively during a shift.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a factory setting.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
