Are you an experienced Site Manager with marine or coastal civil engineering experience looking for your next challenge?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and ambitious contractor delivering a major civils scheme in Dover, with responsibility for a key package of works involving marine infrastructure, concrete works and demolition.

The Role
As Site Manager, you'll take ownership of a team and package of works, ensuring activities are properly planned, programmed, resourced and delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Given the nature of the project, marine, coastal or waterfront civil engineering experience would be highly advantageous.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and managing site teams and a direct delivery workforce.
Managing the delivery of civil engineering and marine/coastal works.
Overseeing concrete, demolition and associated civils activities.
Driving a proactive and robust health & safety culture.
Planning, programming and resourcing works to meet project requirements.
Coordinating site activities and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
Managing temporary works and underground services requirements.
Working closely with project management, engineering and subcontract teams.
Ensuring quality, safety and environmental standards are consistently maintained.
Providing strong leadership and creating a positive, high-performing site environment.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager who has a proven track record of leading teams and successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Marine experience is particularly desirable, including experience working on:
Marine infrastructure and coastal schemes
Ports, harbours or waterfront developments
Marine concrete and structural works
Sea walls, quay walls or other coastal structures
Demolition or enabling works within marine environmentsYou'll also ideally have:
Proven experience managing civil engineering projects.
Strong experience leading civil engineering site teams.
Experience managing health & safety compliance on major projects.
Experience working with a direct delivery workforce.
Strong planning and programming capability.
CSCS card relevant to the role.
SMSTS.
Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator qualification.
Crane Appointed Person qualification.
HSG47 / underground services experience.
First Aid qualification.Above all, we're looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive and commercially aware, with the leadership skills to drive delivery and maintain high standards across a busy site.
