Manchester Up to £1,500 per week 22-Week Contract Start Date: Monday 26th October 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major CAT B fit-out project in Manchester on behalf of a well-established commercial interiors contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a key phase of works within a high-profile 12-storey commercial building, overseeing a two-floor fit-out project with a programme duration of approximately 22 weeks.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing all site activities throughout the CAT B fit-out programme Coordinating subcontractors and site labour Overseeing delivery and installation of stud and glazed partition systems Managing material deliveries and site logistics Monitoring health & safety compliance across the project Managing T-points and site access procedures Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings Maintaining programme deadlines and quality standards Ensuring site documentation is kept up to date

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects Current SC Clearance (Security Clearance) - this is essential and applications without active clearance cannot be considered Experience delivering CAT B office fit-out schemes Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and site management practices Experience coordinating multiple trades within occupied or live commercial environments Excellent communication and organisational skills

Location: First Street, Manchester (M15) Start Date: Monday 26th October 2026 Duration: 22 Weeks Rate: Up to £1,500 per week Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
