Solar PV Installation Supervisor

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and experienced Solar PV Installation Supervisor to lead installation teams in the Liverpool area. This role is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of photovoltaic systems on residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, managing installation crews, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards. This is a field-based role requiring strong leadership and technical expertise in solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage teams of solar PV installers on-site.
• Ensure all installations are completed according to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-installation site assessments and quality control checks.
• Manage on-site inventory of materials and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and training to installation crews.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding installation progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installing and managing solar PV systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong knowledge of solar panel technology , inverters, and mounting systems.
• Excellent understanding of electrical safety procedures and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
