You will play a key role in all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu planning and preparation to team leadership and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, including menu development and food preparation for events.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and cooking methods.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for the kitchen, ensuring optimal freshness and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, overseeing all kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining, hotel, or high-quality catering establishment.
• Strong culinary skills across various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Solid understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
