Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of sports injuries, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs, utilizing manual therapy, exercise prescription, and other modalities.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, proper training techniques, and self-management of conditions.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and medical professionals to ensure integrated care for athletes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with professional standards.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in sports physiotherapy.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-graduate qualification or significant experience in sports physiotherapy.
- Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of sports injuries.
- Excellent manual therapy skills and knowledge of therapeutic exercise.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
