Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Sports Sponsorship Manager to lead their sponsorship initiatives in Reading . You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships that align with the company's brand and marketing objectives. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the sports landscape. You will play a key role in driving revenue and enhancing brand visibility through impactful collaborations within the thriving UK sports market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sponsorship opportunities within the sports sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing sponsors.
- Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and budget.
- Develop and execute comprehensive activation plans for sponsored properties.
- Manage sponsor relationships, ensuring they receive maximum value from their investment.
- Track and report on the ROI of sponsorship activities and their contribution to business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sponsorship sales or management, ideally within the sports industry.
- Strong understanding of the sports market, including key stakeholders and trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
