Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Subject Matter Expert in Mathematics to contribute to their online content development team in Stoke-on-Trent . In this hybrid role, you will lend your expertise to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical soundness of our mathematics curriculum for various learning platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate mathematics content for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Develop explanations, examples, and practice problems for online learning modules.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and curriculum developers to integrate mathematical concepts into learning materials.
- Ensure content aligns with relevant educational standards and curricula.
- Provide feedback on the structure and delivery of mathematical topics in online courses.
- Assist in the creation of assessments and quizzes for mathematics subjects.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching or developing mathematics curriculum at the secondary or tertiary level.
- Strong understanding of modern pedagogical approaches in mathematics education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
