About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Subsea Engineer to join their innovative engineering department, working entirely remotely. This position is key to the design, development, and deployment of subsea production systems and infrastructure for the Oil & Gas industry . You will collaborate with a global team of engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to deliver complex subsea projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in a fully remote capacity, contributing to cutting-edge subsea technology development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, pipelines, and control systems.
- Conduct technical analysis, simulations, and calculations for subsea components and systems.
- Oversee the procurement, fabrication, and installation phases of subsea projects.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies for subsea operations.
- Collaborate with installation contractors and vessel operators to plan and execute offshore campaigns effectively.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Proven expertise in subsea system design, installation, and operation.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV).
- Experience with FEA and CFD analysis for subsea applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, essential for a remote role.
