About the Role

Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team, contributing to the optimization of their logistics and operational processes in Wolverhampton . This role involves delving into complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements across the supply chain. You will work closely with various departments to support strategic decision-making and enhance overall supply chain resilience. Key Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain data to identify key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to implement supply chain enhancements.
Support the forecasting and planning processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and resource allocation.
Evaluate the performance of logistics providers and identify opportunities for negotiation and improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of new supply chain strategies and technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software.
Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
