About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Leeds . This role is essential for optimizing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions. You will leverage data analytics to forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods from origin to customer, contributing directly to the company's competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts, collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and work to improve lead times and reliability.
• Design and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Support the development and implementation of new supply chain initiatives and technologies.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and key metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role within logistics.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including advanced Excel and SQL.
• Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
