About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team, supporting operations across the UK from a remote setting. This role is pivotal in optimizing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the entire supply chain. You will analyze complex data sets, identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend strategic improvements to logistics processes. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data analysis tools and possesses a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, enabling them to provide valuable insights that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support production planning and inventory management.
Model and evaluate different supply chain scenarios to optimize network design and transportation routes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales, to implement supply chain strategies.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on supply chain performance and recommendations for stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
Experience with supply chain planning and optimization tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline and strong time management.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field.
