About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Support Team Leader to manage and guide their remote Community & Social Care team in the Bristol region. This leadership role is vital in overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services to individuals and families, ensuring that team members are well-supported, motivated, and equipped to meet client needs effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, providing mentorship, and ensuring adherence to best practices and organisational standards, all within a fully remote operational structure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support staff, providing direction, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the daily operations of the remote support team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and workload management.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support services in line with organisational policies.
- Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
- Liaise with senior management and other stakeholders to report on team progress and address any service delivery challenges.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure all team activities comply with relevant legislation and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the community and social care sector.
- Strong understanding of social care principles, best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a remote team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage challenging situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in using remote working technologies and case management systems.
