About the Role
Our client, a respected charity dedicated to scientific research and public awareness in Oxford , is seeking a motivated and personable Supporter Relations Executive . This crucial role focuses on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the charity's valued donors and supporters. You will be responsible for communicating the impact of their contributions, ensuring a positive supporter experience, and encouraging continued engagement and generosity. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for the charity's cause, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. The role is office-based in Oxford , allowing for direct engagement and collaboration with the wider team and supporters in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of individual donors and supporters.
- Communicate the impact of donations through personalised updates, thank-you notes, and impact reports.
- Respond promptly and professionally to supporter enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist in organising supporter events and engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supporter interactions in the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities for increased supporter engagement and giving.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or donor relations, preferably within the charity sector .
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in managing supporter data.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office applications.
- A genuine passion for the charity’s mission and commitment to building strong relationships.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an office environment in Oxfordshire .
