About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Installer to join their growing team, serving clients across Edinburgh, Scotland and surrounding areas. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the precise installation and configuration of various technical systems and equipment. You will work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met, providing clear explanations of the work performed. This position is vital for maintaining our high standards in the Installation & Maintenance sector and requires an individual with excellent practical skills and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and set up technical equipment and systems according to company specifications and client requirements.
• Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance post-installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation process.
• Provide basic training and support to end-users on the operation of newly installed systems.
• Maintain accurate installation logs and inventory of materials used.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to site-specific guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Technical Installer or in a related field service role.
• Proficiency with a range of tools and equipment relevant to installations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation manuals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Must be physically capable of performing manual tasks associated with installations.
• Flexibility to travel within the Edinburgh region and occasional overnight stays.
